Welcome to Israel • Jaffa • Mediterranean Coast
Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport and begin your experience in the Land of the Bible. Visit ancient Jaffa for a walking tour through the historic Old City before continuing north along the Mediterranean coast to your hotel.

Day 3 – Wednesday, September 8, 2027
Caesarea • Mount Carmel • Megiddo • Nazareth • Mount Precipice
Explore Caesarea Maritima and its impressive Roman ruins before traveling to Mount Carmel, site of Elijah’s dramatic confrontation with the prophets of Baal. Continue to Megiddo, overlooking the Jezreel Valley, and then to Nazareth and Mount Precipice for panoramic views of the Galilee.

Day 4 – Thursday, September 9, 2027
Sea of Galilee Ministry Sites
Spend the day exploring the places associated with Jesus’ ministry around the Sea of Galilee. Visit Magdala and its first-century synagogue, Capernaum, Tabgha, the region of the Gadarenes, and the Mount of Beatitudes. If time permits, visit Bethsaida.

Day 5 – Friday, September 10, 2027
Ancient Boat • Sea of Galilee Boat Ride • Caesarea Philippi
Visit Kibbutz Ginnosar to see the remarkably preserved ancient Galilee boat. Then enjoy a memorable boat ride across the Sea of Galilee before traveling north to Caesarea Philippi, the setting of Peter’s declaration that Jesus is the Messiah.

Day 6 – Saturday, September 11, 2027
Beit She’an • Jordan River • Dead Sea
Travel through the Jordan Valley to Beit She’an, one of Israel’s most impressive ancient Roman cities. Continue to the Jordan River, where there will be an opportunity for an optional baptismal renewal, before traveling to the Dead Sea region.

Day 7 – Sunday, September 12, 2027
Masada • Ein Gedi • Qumran • Jerusalem
Ascend Masada, the dramatic desert fortress overlooking the Dead Sea. Continue to the oasis of Ein Gedi and Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Then make the unforgettable ascent to Jerusalem, stopping at Mount Scopus for your first panoramic view of the Holy City.

Day 8 – Monday, September 13, 2027
Israel Museum • Yad Vashem • Valley of Elah
Visit the Israel Museum, including the Shrine of the Book and the impressive model of first-century Jerusalem. Continue to Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial and museum, followed by a visit to the Valley of Elah, the biblical setting of David’s encounter with Goliath.

Day 9 – Tuesday, September 14, 2027
Mount of Olives • Garden of Gethsemane • Upper Room • Caiaphas House • Golgotha • Garden Tomb
Begin on the Mount of Olives with its magnificent view of Jerusalem. Walk the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane, then visit the Upper Room and the House of Caiaphas. Conclude this meaningful day at Golgotha and the Garden Tomb.

Day 10 – Wednesday, September 15, 2027
Jerusalem Old City • Mount Moriah • Bethesda • City of David • Western Wall Tunnels • Bethlehem
Explore the biblical and historic treasures of Jerusalem’s Old City, including the area of Mount Moriah and the Pools of Bethesda. Continue to the City of David and the Western Wall Tunnels before traveling to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Return to Jerusalem for your final evening in Israel.

Return Home
Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for your return flight home, carrying unforgettable memories and a deeper connection to the places and stories of Scripture.

Tour Arrangements
Air Travel is purchased separately. Our guests will be offered the opportunity to work with an expert ticketing agent to arrange the best flights and connections for this tour. 

Passports/Visa - You will be required to provide Aliyah Tours with a copy of your passport at least 6 weeks before the tour. It can take as long as 10 weeks to process a passport application in the USA. Please expedite passport applications submitted after June 1, 2027. Also note: The State of Israel requires that your passport have an expiration date valid for at least 6 months after your date of departure from Israel. Other nationals should contact their consulate for visa information. Aliyah Tours does NOT process visa applications. 

Deposits and Payments 

Payments:

• The final tour balance, including any applicable private room supplement, is due June 1, 2027.  Failure to make payment by the deadline may result in cancellation of your tour reservation.

• A non refundable deposit of $500 per person is required.

Group Cancellation policy 

• The initial deposit is non-refundable.

• Up to 3 months prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is the initial deposit plus 50% of other amounts paid.

• Up to 6 weeks prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is the initial deposit plus 75% of other amounts paid.

• Within 6 weeks prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is 100% of all amounts paid.

If Aliyah Tours cancels the tour: lf Aliyah Tours cancels the tour, applicable tour payments will be refunded in accordance with this policy.  The initial $500 deposit includes a $100 non-refundable regiation fee.  Therefore, $400 of the initial deposit, along with all subsequent tour payments, will be refunded.  Please allow up to 8 weeks from the date of the official tour cancellation for refunds to be porcessed.  

Unexpected Airline Challenges
Airlines can and will make unexpected changes to travel itineraries due to weather, mechanical problems and staffing issues. Should your flight be delayed or canceled, it is up to the passenger to work directly with the airline to rebook flights to the intended destination. Aliyah Tours is not responsible for airline changes that cause delays, cancellations, late arrivals, baggage loss, and associated expenses. Group transfers are limited to the original arrival time and will not be available for rescheduled flights. (Air travel ticketing agents affiliated with Aliyah Tours are not responsible for rebooking your canceled or delayed flights.) Travel insurance is highly recommended to address all these challenges and the associated expenses for the traveler. 

Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA-IL) Requirement - Israel Tours

All non-Israeli guests participating in the tour are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA-IL) prior to arrival in Israel. Guests must apply online through the official ETA-IL website at Israel-entry | Page Home and receive approval before boarding their flight. Do not use third party sites for the application process. The cost of the official ETA-IL authorization is 25 Shekels or about $9.00. The application approval should be submitted to Aliyah Tours one month before departure. Earlier submission is strongly recommended to avoid any delays or issues. Approval is typically valid for up to two years or until passport expiration (whichever comes first) and allows for multiple entries during its validity. It is the responsibility of each guest to complete the application accurately and in a timely manner. Failure to obtain ETA-IL approval may result in denial of boarding or entry into Israel, and the tour operator will not be held responsible for any costs or losses incurred as a result. Other nationals should contact their consulate for information. Aliyah Tours does NOT process passport or ETA-IL authorization applications.

Health Requirements and Activity Levels 

Tours in Israel include areas that have uneven footing, few handrails, rocky pathways, and some steep climbs. Click here for Holy Land Accessibility & Wheelchair Access Questions. 

The streets and sites we visit are not wheelchair and walker-friendly. Most of our tours include 3-5 miles of walking per day. Guests with mobility challenges or other health issues should make private arrangements to travel with a caregiver who can stay with them if they need to opt out of a tour stop. Tour drivers will take breaks and lock up their buses when unattended. Guests cannot be left alone on an unattended bus should they choose to opt-out. If you have health challenges, please consult an Aliyah Tours representative before you put down a deposit on a tour.  

For the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all participants, our Israel tours involve a moderate to rigorous level of physical activity.  Travelers should be able to:

• Walk 3-5 miles per day over uneven terrain, steps, inclines, and archaeological sites
• Stand for extended periods during teachings and site visits
• Manage personal luggage, travel documents, and personal needs independently
• Navigate airports, airline procedures, security, customs, and flight connections without assistance from ministry staff
• Keep pace with a group schedule that may include early mornings and full travel days

We joyfully welcome travelers from many seasons of life.  However, Aliyah Foundation ministry staff and tour leaders are not able to provide personal travel assistance, airport navigation support, mobility assistance, medical supervision, or daily personal care. 

Travelers who anticipate needing assistance in any of these areas are asked to travel with a capable companion who can provide the necessary support throughout the journey. 

Our goal is to ensure every guest experiences Israel in a safe, meaningful, and spiritually enriching way. 

Travel Insurance is HIGHLY recommended for international travel to protect your tour investment. Travel insurance also protects you from costly losses due to emergency medical care, evacuation, trip interruption, and baggage loss. For the best coverage options, including "cancel for any reason" coverage, purchase your travel insurance within two weeks of booking your tour. There will be no exceptions to the strict cancellation policy.
