DAY 3 Travel to Shechem, where Abraham built his first altar in the Land and received God’s covenant promise (Genesis 12). Continue to Shiloh, where the Tabernacle and Ark of the Covenant rested for over 300 years. Visit Ariel before returning to the coast.

DAY 4  Explore Caesarea, where Peter brought the gospel to the Gentiles and Paul stood before kings. Ascend Mount Carmel, site of Elijah’s dramatic victory. Visit Megiddo—overlooking the future battleground of Armageddon—and end in Nazareth, Jesus’ boyhood home.

DAY 5  Sail the Sea of Galilee where Jesus walked on water and calmed the storm. Visit Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene, and Capernaum, His ministry base. Reflect at the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount, and worship at Peter’s Primacy before baptisms on the shore.

DAY 6 Discover Tel Dan, connected to the northern kingdom of Israel, and Caesarea Philippi, where Peter declared Jesus as the Messiah. View the Golan from Mount Bental, a region that frames biblical northern borders and ancient trade routes.

DAY 7  Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls preserved Scripture for centuries, and Ein Gedi, David’s stronghold while fleeing Saul (1 Samuel 24). Settle early into your Dead Sea hotel for rest and reflection.

DAY 8 .Ascend Masada, symbol of Jewish courage and resilience. Experience a desert encounter at Kfar Hanokdim, then continue to Hebron, home of the Tomb of the Patriarchs. Enter Jerusalem with a panoramic welcome from Mount Scopus—longing of prophets and pilgrims for thousands of years.

DAY 9 Stand on the Temple Mount, the most significant biblical site in the world. Walk the ancient City of David and the Pilgrim Path used by worshipers ascending to the Temple. Visit the Southern Steps where Jesus taught, and spend time at the Western Wall.

DAY 10  Experience the Old City and visit the Temple Institute, which studies the future restoration of Temple worship. Welcome Shabbat at the Western Wall—the same weekly observance kept by Israel since biblical times—followed by a festive Shabbat dinner.

DAY 11 Trace the steps of Jesus from the Mount of Olives, along the Palm Sunday Path, and into Gethsemane. Visit the Upper Room, associated with the Last Supper and Pentecost. Walk through Gallicantu, connected with Peter’s denial, and reflect at Golgotha and the Garden Tomb.

DAY 12 Explore the Israel Museum, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Yad Vashem, a reminder of Israel’s modern resilience. Visit the Valley of Elah, where David defeated Goliath, before returning to Jerusalem for a farewell dinner.

DAY 13 Return Flight to North America with many great memories and a lot of pictures.

Unexpected Airline Challenges
Airlines can and will make unexpected changes to travel itineraries due to weather, mechanical problems and staffing issues. Should your flight be delayed or canceled, it is up to the passenger to work directly with the airline to rebook flights to the intended destination. Aliyah Tours is not responsible for airline changes that cause delays, cancellations, late arrivals, baggage loss, and associated expenses. Group transfers are limited to the original arrival time and will not be available for rescheduled flights. (Air travel ticketing agents affiliated with Aliyah Tours are not responsible for rebooking your canceled or delayed flights.) Travel insurance is highly recommended to address all these challenges and the associated expenses for the traveler.

Health and Mobility Challenges - This Tour has an Activity Level Rating of 3-4.

3- Moderate - Moderate tours accommodate guests who are moderately fit and are comfortable participating in long days of activity. Some physical exertion is expected.

4- Active tours are appropriate for guests who are physically fit, expect a vigorous pace, and longer tour days, including walking tours of up to 4 hours without a rest period on the motorcoach.

Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA-IL) Requirement - Israel Tours

All non-Israeli guests participating in the tour are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA-IL) prior to arrival in Israel. The ETA-IL is a mandatory pre-entry approval implemented by the Israeli government in 2025 for travelers from visa-exempt countries. Guests must apply online through the official ETA-IL website at Israel-entry | Page Home and receive approval before boarding their flight. Do not use third party sites for the application process. The cost of the official ETA-IL visa application is 25 Shekels or about $7.50. The application approval should be submitted to Aliyah Tours one month before departure. Earlier submission is strongly recommended to avoid any delays or issues. Approval is typically valid for up to two years or until passport expiration (whichever comes first) and allows for multiple entries during its validity. It is the responsibility of each guest to complete the application accurately and in a timely manner. Failure to obtain ETA-IL approval may result in denial of boarding or entry into Israel, and the tour operator will not be held responsible for any costs or losses incurred as a result.

Other nationals should contact their consulate for information.  For other destinations, please contact Aliyah Tours.  Aliyah Tours does NOT process visa applications.  No inoculations are currently required for travel to Israel.  Please contact public health authorities for further information or other destinations.
